Military industrial complex version
It is now 2005 and you work for a
major satellite manufacturer.
Your
boss tells you that the government is not satisfied with spy
satellites that are only capable of reading license plates on cars
from space. What they really want are satellites that can read the little
registration tags that should be replaced each year so that they
can monitor whether or not everyone's registration fees are up to
date. They would be able to improve the resolution of their image
monitoring equipment if they could find the maximum value of the
function
for values of x, y and z all between 0 and 10 (inclusive). You do
not have to find the values for x, y and z exactly, but you
do need to find them to within 0.01.
Some old code is available that may be
modified to solve this problem. To run the code as it is, you
will also need three more files.
