Rules:

  1. You do not need to reserve a pendulum platform in order to use it. However, if someone shows up with a reservation for the pendulum you are using for that time, you have to give it to them. I expect that in the beginning it probably won't be worth the time to make a reservation. I suspect near the end it may be necessary.
  2. You may reserve a pendulum for any two-hour block of time corresponding to 8:00-10:00am, 10:00am-12:00pm, 12:00pm-2:00pm, etc.
  3. Your group may only have one reservation pending at any given time. For example, you can reserve it for next Tuesday between 8:00 and 10:00pm, but you may not make another reservation until after 10:00pm next Tuesday. This holds for your whole group, meaning you and your group mate(s) may not each have one open pending reservation. Your group as a whole or any single member of your group may only have one pending reservation.
  4. The pendulum platforms must stay in 212 or 213 Stinson-Remick Hall. You may not remove any of them from those rooms without the permission of the instructor or TA.
  5. There will be TA help on Thursdays from 8:00-10:00pm. His email is jgallag8@nd.edu and he was very instrumental in getting the project running. For specific coding issues, it is likely that he would be more helpful than me (although feel free to ask for help from me as well if you find it necessary).
  6. The project report will be due at 5:00pm on the last day of classes. There will be no extensions.
