Homework 2 Solutions

We were going over the solutions to the homework and found a substantial error in one of the problems. The error is in homework 2 6.4 A3. The sign on 16 should be positive throughout the problem and it switches when you substitute in the eigenvalues. Additionally, the final solution is half simplified. Either the top part needs to be multiplied by 2 or the bottom divided by 2.
