I think it goes without saying that you should plot the motion of all the masses when you do you simulation to see if the answer makes sense to you. In the interest of not wasting paper, submit something that effectively communicates the nature of the response. If that can be done with one plot, then that would be best. At the other extreme, the motion of all 10 masses on a single plot would not be an example of effective communication.

Well, literally the former would be plotting f vs t and the latter the absolute value of f vs t, but I'm pretty sure I didn't write those two problems intending that distinction. You can plot f vs t in both cases.
