Reading: All of Chapter 5. I'm working on convincing the publisher to let me make a second edition and eliminate all typos, but for now I can only point out that for this chapter it's particularly important to review the errata.

Exercises: Exercises: 5.2 (parts 1-4, skip part 5), 5.5, 5.7, 5.9, 5.12 and 5.13 (part 1 only, parts 2 and 3 are extra credit).

For the problems that say to compare it with a numerical solution, it is permissible to use ode45(). You may write your own code as well. Doing so may pay off in a few weeks when you will be required to do it.

They seem to be saved locally on the classroom computer. As long as I either remember, or someone reminds me tomorrow before I log off, I will post them right after class.
