Chapter 8, Sections 1 - 5.

Exercises: 8.3.6, 8.3.14, 8.5.1, 8.6.2, 8.6.5 and 8.15.

The notation 8.3.6 means problem 8.3, number 6.

For problem 8.5.1, how to we plot the right hand side of the equation for the numerical part of the problem?

I'm going by memory and assuming that's the one with the impulse function. If so, no numerical method can handle an impulse, so you have to consider the effect of a force that's an impulse. In this case it would be to change the initial velocity to 1.
