Reading for the whole semester so far:

• Chapter 6
• Chapter 7, section 7.1
• Chapter 8, except section 8.4
• Chapter 9, sections 9.1-9.5

Exercises: 9.3, 9.7, 9.8, 9.9.

Also, do the system identification for the pendulum project. Submit a 1-page report (separately from the homework) for your group, that explains the methodology in a paragraph or less, the transfer function you determined, and plots comparing the step response of the identified transfer function with to the actual response for various inputs. Pretend that I am your boss and need to be convinced that you have the right transfer function to proceed with the project.
