Programming resources

Post by goodwine »

Here is a list of programming resources that may prove useful. I plan to expand this list as time permits and new links come to my attention.
  1. A list of computer clusters at Notre Dame.
  2. Computing in AME information.
  3. C
    1. C Programming for Engineers at ND (recommended).
    2. C Programming Tutorial (recommended, but now it seems to be down).
    3. Programming in C: A Tutorial by Brian W. Kernighan (one of the original authors of C).
    4. C Programming Notes.
    5. How C Programming Works.
    6. C Programming.
  4. Matlab
    1. Controls tutorial for Matlab.
    2. Matlab Page (lots of information).
    3. MathWorks Web Site.
    4. Simulink tutorial.
  5. Mathematica
    1. Getting Started with Mathematica.
    2. Lots of Mathematica resources, including tutorials and other resources.
    3. Mathematica tutorials from the maker of mathematica.
  6. Some of my favorites
    1. Perl information at perl.org and perl.com.
    2. The Shakespeare Programming Language allows you to be creative and program at the same time! To make sure this is for real, I've written a random number generator in the Shakespeare Programming Language (this really is a program for a random number generator).
