[[Patent:Waterproof Miniature Flashlight]]
[[Patent:Waterproof Miniature Flashlight]]
Issued: March 22, 1988
Assignee: Lite Tek International Corporation
My patent is for a Waterproof Miniature Flashlight. MY interest stems from my uncanny luck to be in power outages, and I find it convenient to have a practical flashlight at hand. Although miniature flashlights have been made before, this type by Lite Tek has differentiating features. The power switch is enabled through a twisting mechanism in the tail. This switch is comprised of a plunger button apparatus which is seperated by a fluid tight diaphragm. And a protective measure was taken by orienting the positive terminal of the batteries away from the head of the light, so in the event of a fall, the head assembly is less likely to be damaged. The patent can be found on Google Patents at this location [http://www.google.com/patents?id=Uk82AAAAEBAJ&printsec=abstract&zoom=4&source=gbs_overview_r&cad=0#v=onepage&q&f=false]
