Exercises: 11.2 (challenging), 11.4.1, 11.6, 11.9 and 11.11.
Edits based on clarifications from office hours and/or emails:
- for 11.2 use these values: m = 1, b = 0, k = 9 pi^2
- for Laplace's equation: do the direction with the two zero BC first, then do the zero BC on the remaining direction and then finally do a Fourier series to match the non-zero BC
- for 11.9 you can choose to do one of the three parts. If you do (or did) the other two, you will receive extra credit. Extra credit is truly extra: not doing it will not hurt your grade, but doing it may help it.
