Providing Power to the MicroStamp11

Since the MicroStamp11 is an electronic device, you need to supply it with power before you can do anything with it. The MicroStamp11 requires a regulated 5 volt power source and zero volt connection that we'll refer to as ground.

In connecting power to the proto-board, it is customary to connect the power rails on the top of your board to the 5 volt and ground supplies. The protoboards that you have in the module have ground, $\pm 5$ volt, and $15$ volt power terminals. So you simply need to connect the power rails to the appropriate terminal posts with a small wire. This should have already been done for the protoboard supplied in this module.

Once the power supplies have been connected to the power rails, you need to connect the MicroStamp11 to these rails. The +5 volt supply is connected to pin 12 and ground is connected to pin 11. This also should have already been done for the protoboard supplied with this module.
